Jefferson County Habitat Sites

There has been tremendous effort from all our dedicated volunteers in making the Town Run a safe haven for pollinators. From preparing the land and planting native species to watering, mulching, weeding, and maintaining the space, countless hours of hard work and dedication have gone into creating a thriving habitat for bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and other beneficial wildlife. Every shovel of soil turned and every plant added helps strengthen the ecosystem, beautify the community, and support biodiversity for generations to come. The passion, teamwork, and commitment shown by the Town Run Watershed, Shepherdstown Bee City, and our volunteers continue to transform the Town Run into a vibrant and welcoming refuge for pollinators and people alike.
